 Lynsey originally joined Classic in
1998 as a holiday reservations clerk and soon became indispensable as she became expert in the computer system in use at the time. Since then she has kept abreast of improvements to the bespoke booking system.
It was with great sadness that we said good bye to Lynsey when in 2005 she left to take up a clerical position with Durham City Council. However, this did
not last as she returned to Classic after only a few months. She was offered a position in the busy accounts department and quickly rose to her present position.
As purchase ledger clerk she is in the
position of dealing with those requesting payment from Classic. She also has to obtain authorisation on all invoices before payment.
Commenting on her time at Classic, Lynsey said, "People here are great. It's one happy family." and judging by the riotous girly nights out at which Lynsey is the
star attraction, she certainly takes this to heart. Lynsey says that her major hobby is shopping and she has a huge selection of handbags.
Lynsey is single and looking but we don't think it will be long before that changes. As she lives with her parents, Lynsey has opportunities to travel abroad; her favourite destination is the USA.
Maybe her next destination should be the Everglades to grab a crocodile for that next special handbag. Watch out for your fingers Lynsey!
